New Ideas

The best resource for the medical device community to obtain new product ideas from is the people that are closest to the issues that need to be solved. The clinicians and health care providers in the field know what problems need to be solved and what types of products and devices are needed to safely and effectively address these issues. Over 75% of all new products that enter the medical device manufacturing chain originate from ideas conceived by health care providers whether they are physicians, nurses, technicians or in some instances even from the patients themselves.

What ideas are we interested in?

Clinical Solutions International has represented a vast verity of medical devices and has been instrumental in providing inventors success in having their ideas become a reality. We have special interest and in-house expertise in anesthesia, airway management, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, respiratory care, vascular access, emergency medicine, and patient monitoring; CSI has also represented many ideas from other medical disciplines. We have experience with ideas and devices that are of special interest to the military, home care industry and veterinary medicine. Our international contact with some of the most highly respected medical experts provides us and our clients with a link to experts in virtually all fields of health care.

Would CSI be interested in your idea?

One must remember that all great inventions that have lead to the advancement of medicine, started out as a small idea. Only a few new product ideas are truly revolutionary, but many are improvements or expansions of ideas that already exist. The evolution of existing products are just as important, if not more so than the rare new technology that has a major impact on how we practice medicine. These small improvements are really what improve patient care universally. Inventors must understand that for many reasons, not all ideas, even those that they believe will change health care, can or should enter the market but they also need to realize that all ideas are worth consideration and should have a chance to be evaluated by the experts in these fields.
